I recently purchased a 2004 v6 convertible Mustang just for fun. The brakes have a squishy wet fart feeling just before you come to a stop. This happens when you're at 2 to 3 mile an hour it feels like the brake fluid is relieving but I do not know where. Does this sound like a bad master cylinder or one of the modules in the ABS system? Any ideas? The ABS light is not on. The brakes feel firm and stop just fine.

Without any other info, i would say its air in the brake lines. i would bleed the lines/MC to start. not too hard, easier with 2 people. Let me know how it goes!

I'll give it a try but normally when you have air in the lines the brake are never firm... they are firm until the second before you come to a complete stop
