2006 GT dynoed better than I though it would.

I took my wife's 2006 GT 5 speed to our local dyno shop.

It made 283.9 and 303.6 at the wheels stock.

Pulled the stock air filter at it made 288.2 and 308.7.



I thougt it did pretty good and I thought I would share.

If you go by the rated HP of 300, you're only losing just over 5% in loss.

No drivetrain is that efficient. I would assume a 12% loss. How about some of the cars are a tad underrated.
