Anybody running 275's up front? I got a really good deal on a set of 4 275's. 275-35-18 to be exact. Anyways if it's gonna be to big for the front I will sell 2 and buy 245-40-18 for the front.

I have 265/35/18 's up front with 18x9" rims and 26mm offset and the fronts slightly rub under certain conditions while in full lock.

I have 275/40/17 all around. I think I -may- be rubbing only when I turn full locked left. If anything, it's not noticable on the tires afterwards.

Any pics???

I have 18x9.5 y2k Cobra R's BTW. I am just afraid the 275 in front will "stick out" to much. I would liek to drop the car and don't want it looking "odd"

Here's my old car with 275/35's front and 285/35's rear mounted on 18x9's.

I have 265/35s front and 295/35's rear on my Roush and like that combo alot better than the old one.

I had 275/40/17's all around and didn't like the look. I sold them and bought 285/40/17's for the rear and 255/40/17's for the front. It looks much better. I also switched from Kumho's to Nitto's.

Not the best but the only ones I have... I don't think this'll help you much if you have 18x9.5's though, I have puny 17x9's lol.

Hey Firemanz, what kinda tires do you have on the Roush? With the 295/35 in the back and 265/35 in the front does the car sit higher on the back? Oh yea, are the Roush wheels 17x9?

They're 18x9's on the front and 18x10's on the rear with BFG Comp T/A KD's. I'm not sure if it's because of the tires, ground effects, or suspension, but it has a small "raked" look to it looking from the side. There are side profile shots in my sig if you're interested........

I have exactly what you're looking into. I have 18x9.5" Y2K Cobra Rs with 275/35R18 Nitto NT 555s.

Check the link in my signature for quite a few. I'll post a few on here as well. I was also worried that it would look like they're sticking out in the front. With the car up in the air (or stock height), they will. But if you're lowered and you have about 1 degree of negative camber it looks perfect. Although my car has always been a hair lower on the driver's side, so the passenger front wheel does look like it's out a little more. At a stop, mine do not rub at all. But if you hit a driveway at an angle and cut the wheel really sharp the car will lean to one side and THEN they'll barely rub. I have no regrets with this wheel/tire combo. I wanted wider tires in the back originally, but I'm glad I didn't do that. The car looks balanced.

The brand of tire you buy has a huge impact on how they'll look though. That's why I got the Nitto's because they fit well on the rim.

In the picture with the wheel cut, remember that there's a little more that the steering can turn in that picture when there's actually a driver in the car holding it at full lock.
