There will soon exist:

A website where you can have a delivery drone dispatched your door to pickup and deliver a package to a dispatch center that will load it onto a larger drone etc. and reverse.

Within the next few years, you'll be able to buy something on Craigslist that's 3000 miles away and have it in 8 - 16 hours.

This low earth orbit communications grid isn't just about pumping cat videos to cell phones in third world countries.

Funny how commercial licensing of drones has exploded since the announcement.

Keep up everyone. Your world is changing and the previous technological revolution was nothing more than a daydream.

IF it doesn't kill us all first.

The moment son and i can get together is always as sun goes down it seems.
Its a start, we still got to clean and install springs, sway-bar, tie rods, and rack mounts.
Thinking repack them new bearings again too.
We cleaned and worked on painting the rotors and spindles as well.
Thinking about a caliper paint kit. Gold? Maybe Black? what you think?
Progress!

Mocked up and almost ready for some locktite and torquing.

Looks like wheel bearing torque setting is wrong in book.

Hey, the torque for the wheel bearing nut, is only valid if you loosen the nut 1/4 turn after you torqued it. This the official installation procedure from Ford (should be discribed in your manual).
If you want torque without loosening the nut, 100 in-lbs should be the right value.

It's for ensuring positively that the bearings are seated in the races.

I'm not 100% sure, but I ordered "DORMAN 31000". But I never installed it, because I changed to an u-joint...

I did the front bearings the way the book said. Are you saying the book is wrong? I remember thinking it was odd at the time.

No.
Initial torque is for setting bearings, not for the final tighting of castle nut to correct bearing pre-load.
