will the maf cord stretch that far or do you have to extend it?

i am thinking about moving my maf to the fenderwell too ...

I extended mine ... the SCT and Lightning MAF take a different connector... then stock. So mine is a little longer.. cut, solder and shrink tube

If it's holding the power, nuttin........

I need to do similar mods due to the high low-mid range torque - not that much HP......I will be relocating the upper rear arm, body side mounting point to give the car an instant center.

Hi tom
Have only driven it a couple days with the 440rwhp, stayed straight in launches and kickdowns, seems to be great. Time will tell and a couple trips to the track. It is easy to get in trouble though (picks up speed fast) .

Finished my tune tonight

Hi
Finished my tune tonight, last week I had 440rwhp put an SCT maf and a used Powerpipe on it an WHOA!! A whoppin
533 block splitting rwhp and it was about a point fat (
there is more there
) and only 19 degrees timing...
Pulled timing down to 17 or so for around 521rwhp @ 5700rpm. Will post a chart tomorrow.

Uncorrected the HP was 555rwhp.

DAMN!!!!! I knew it was in there, it just needed let out. THAT is the kind of numbers we all expected. I knew that stock inlet pipe was a major restriction to your power production and the power pipe would do wonders.

WTG Steve!!! Does that put you ahead of your son now?

Actually I will never catch him... He is at 575 now (smaller pulley) and has a snow kit on the shelf... With a dart block he can keep going and I am done for now... Have even thought of a bigger pulley, yes bigger to cut it down a little, it would allow me to tune it efficiently.
Turn up the timing and cut the fuel back.

I knew it.

I agree with you about adding the larger pulley.

Paul's is a good place. A freind (co worker) works there part time building motors.
I had them do some stuff for me when I worked there in Cinci.
I was actually close to there earlier today. Kenwood country club for a meeting.

My son is checking to see if they make one or not... Seems silly to go backwards after spending all the money for more power... But it would be safer and more efficient.. Oh we saw appx. 14 # of boost up from 7

DAMN! Is that 14lbs with the stock pulley? If so that REALLY surprises me. Did you tighten the belt or something since the last dyno session. I know the power pipe will help, but I never thought in a million years you'd see 14lbs, even with the 2.95" pulley and a power pipe on a 347 stroker since there is so much more volume to fill.

You need to update your sig! You have 440 no more!

Steve, what did you make NA, and were you close to running out of fuel at all? You are not running an FMU correct? I'd love to know how much power can be made with the stock rails, lines, 42's, a 255 in-tank, and an inline just for curiosity's sake.

BTW- that black typing is nearly impossible to see with the dark moon settings that I run.
