this rim http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/AFS-...105356151QQcategoryZ43957QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
with drag radials on back, fat as i can without probs.

91 lx 410hp engine I want this bullet style to fit without rubbing and quad removal. Car has 51000 or so on it, about 1000 a year for the last 6 years. I jsut fabricated 304 stainless 2.5" exhaust his no cats, expipe with flowmasters. dont wanna touch exhaust. Wife does most of the driving. $ 15000 in new parts, stroker347 etc. My eyes are going buggy reading all threads. Want new parts since everything is new already. From what ive read, sn95 front assy, and ranger driverside axles. Not looking on upgrading brakes, although would be nice, tires need replace before driving and have a $2500 dollar budget for this year per the wife. That would include Drag radials and fronts, rims, and 5 lug conv. I have upr upper and lowers with lakewood traction, koni ajustable shocks, bbk lowering springs on shelf that will go on at time of 5 lug conversion. with this info , can someone make sure im on the right track with parts? Size of drag radial? Thanks a million.

I ran a 275/40/17 on that exact rim w/ no problems. Quads removed

17x8's on the front though.

Here is a post of mine from another forum. If you don't want to go through the trouble of the sn95 conversion, this is what you have to do to make the mk 7 rotors work. No brake upgrade, just a lil modding at best. Very easy to do.

"I ran bullits w/ the kit you are looking at. Like I said, there are some things you have to modify for them to work. Not that big a deal though.

This is what's needed. all for the front to work.

3/8" spacer
Shouldered lug nuts that reach into the wheel. (to grab extra thread on the studs)
You have to beat the dust cap flat
You have to hollow out the middle of the center cap of the wheel to clear the dust cap.

That's it. I ran mine for 3.5 years w/ NO issues at all. Def the cheaper way to go.
17x9's in the rear, 17x8's in the front. "

front tires are 245/45/17 on an 8". The fronts have a 5.72" backspace where the rears have a 6.0". 17x9's might be a lil wide for the front, that's why I went w/ the 8's up front.

Yes, you are correct. Here, the kit is a lil cheaper but you are getting used axles and drums.

I got my axles from a '90 and a '92 Ranger. I know '80's ones have the same ones.
You'll need two lefts.
The 2.3 or 2.9/3.0 powered trucks are the ones to get the axles from. 4.0's use a different rearend.
