alright, provided i go with 05 wheels, would 245's up front and 275's out back work? also how can i up the stopping power of the svo set up other than drilled rotors and new pads?

Drilled rotors don't help the car stop any better.

Best rotors for performance are plain-jane solid faced rotors

Nope, they don't even do that.

Drilled rotors are for show...nothing more.

The reason cars use drilled rotors is for exotic types of brake pads which vent gas when heated up. Normal street pads like found on Mustangs do not vent gas...therefore the drilled holes are useless.

If anything, they reduce the rotors mass which makes them heat up faster and become more prone to heat, cracking and fade.

Like i said, they are just bling bling and plain faced solid rotors from a reputable manufacturer are the best for performance

hmm, i never knew that. so if i was going to go with this kit for the front what else would i need? i have the list from sn95.com but im still alittle lost, ive been reading about this all day and its all starting to run together. here is the kit i was going to buy. http://www.buyfordracing.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=591.

Just subtract the rotors, calipers and lines and banjo bolts from your list above and add in the ball joint spacer and caliper bolts and that "should' be what you need. Just need to decide on 94-95 spindles or 96-04 spindles.

i was planning on going with the 94/95 spindles so i can keep the stock track width. is there anywhere where i can source the rest of this stuff? cuz the pick n' pull up where i am doesnt really have that many mustangs. so if i order that kit it will still look like i need

thats the same kit i got (they had one on ebay that was like $20 cheaper btw),it comes ready to bolt on to a 94+ stang. the only thing needed for the conversion are spindles, balljoint spacers (i used a couple hardened washers), caliper bolts, and the adapter fitting (weatherhead 7828 iirc). i also upgraded my master cylinder, but being that you have a saleen that may not be necessary.

If he goes with the 05+ wheels, then get the 96-04 spindles. Better suspension geometry and then will work better with the offset of those wheels.

Plus they are slightly cheaper than 94-95 spindles

Not to mention they eliminate almost all bumpsteer on lowered cars.

also, if i go with the saleen rear axles that i have now and the cobra brake kit up front using 94/95 axles what backspacing and offset wheels should i be looking for?

If you get the Cobra front kit, it includes:

cobra caliper brackets(2)
caliper pins (2)

spindle to caliper bracket bolts (4) - Ford dealer or www.breezeautomotive.com They sell parts for the Factory Five conversions Or if the donor car for the spindles still has the bolts, I usually ask them for the calipers bolts and get them for free.

Every set of used spindles I bought (about 10 sets or so) included

hubs(2)
hub nuts(2)
dust caps(2)
dust shields(2)

The salvage yards usually don't part them out that far down. Of course the dust shields most likely will be bent up, but they are not 100% necessary. New ones from Ford run less than $10 each.

Just get the spacer from Breeze Auto or buy hardened washers from the hardware store. Breeze Auto also has the adapter fittings.

Well, you really need to decide what wheels you want to run here. There are many variables in widths. If needed, you can actually modify your rear SVO/Saleen setup to the stock fox track using ranger axles. This would match the 94/95 spindles and allow 9 or 10" wide wheels out back.

You also may be able to get away with S197 offset wheels out back and 94-04 wheels up front.

Basically by using the SVo stuff out back and 94/95 spindles up front, you are going to require two different sets of offsets front and rear.

So what wheels do you want to run?? Then you can take it from there

well if i can i want to stay away from 18's cuz i think they are too big. here are my choices im open for opinoins of what you guys think these wouldl look like on my car
the konig vilians from MM
17in fr500's in black
10th anny cobra wheels
saleen wheels ( if i can find a 17)
there was one more that i cant think of, im also open to suggestions for wheels, i just want a good looking wheel that will fit 13" brakes up front and i can run a wide tire on pref 245/275 front to rear respectively.
also are there wheels that are made in the same size with both 94-04 and sn197 offsets?

correct.

The only wheel i know of that comes in SN95 and S197 offsets is the bullitt wheel.

This is another option if you just want to stick to one offset. It will change your rear disks offset and allow you to run 17x9 wheels out back in the SN95 offset. Then you can use 94/95 spindles and run them in the front as well

i know i said i didnt want 18's but the maxim wheels from MM come in an 18x8.5 and come in both sn95 and s197 offsets, would these work with the saleen rear axles and 94 spindles/cobra brakes up front?

I can't really give you a straight answer. Do you have the actual numbers for both offsets?? What is the Backspacing as well??
