The TFS has a 75mm opening. An unported stock intake probably does flow well enough to take advantage of a larger throttlebody. You may actually lose some power.

losing power from a bigger TB is a myth. The only thing you might lose is tip-in throttle response, even then, its negligible. Just remember to port-match the TB to the manifold before you put it in

Yep. Putting a 70mm tb on a 60mm opening creates a 10mm wall for air to hit and disrupt flow. That is pretty dumb. You have to port match the inlet to do it right. The 70mm tb will work fine on your tfs intake when you get it.

You have to port match your inlet to 70mm. Then when you get the tfs intake you have to spend another $10 on new tb gaskets. I say leave it off for now unless the intake isn;t comming anytime soon then do it now and break out the dremel and port match the inlet to 70mm. Do NOT do this with the upper intake still on. Take it off and then buy a new upoper intake gasket!

You don't have to port match it per say, but you need to taper it a little to ease the flow between that 10mm step up.

Here is the entire how to...
