8 plug motor in a 4 plug car?

Has anyone ever put an 8 plug motor(91-93) in a 4 plug car(87-90)? Could u just not use the four drivers side plugs and use the dizzy out of the 87-90 mustang? Or would i have to change the head out? i just picked up a nice 90 mustang and i have a low mileage motor out of a 91, but im not sure how to make it work.

theres no reason you couldnt just hook up the four plugs, but a better alternative would be to swap to the late computer system to take advantage of the extra power and fuel economy potential of the dual plug head
