I think I’m going to finally get my rear out of the bed of my truck today. About time I guess.
I’m going to unload it at work. This weekend I’m going to start getting the garage ready for Booger. I think it could take more than a weekend.
For May I’m going to take the irs home one piece at a time. Lighter that way.
Oh yeah, I asked my jobber about high heat paint for the calipers. They apparently have a wide selection. They’ll send out a color chip deck to me so I can choose. Maybe booger up the calipers too?
June, that’s when I have Booger in the garage.

Top box is the new frame rail kit, the bottom is the seat cross brace.

So I have come to realize my paint jobbers are, maybe not idiots, a variation of r-tards.
They assured me the paint I was asking for my brake calipers would handle high heat. So I googled it and found that it was only good up to 240*.
So I decided to snoop around a bit, I found this. I like the color as well, tell me what you think.

I thought I’d tear down the headlamp mounting panel, clean it up and put the new lights in so I could finish the bumper off.
Looks like me and my friend Panel Bonding Adhesive will have a small date. Couple cracks and a little bit of missing panel.

Thats one of my next projects this summer. I am going to send my headlights to @95steedamustang for restoration. I finally have a full set with no cracks or chips.
This repair will have to be done in steps.
I fixed the inner area first so it would all line up again. I baked it in the booth for about an hour so I can probably do more this afternoon.
I’ll have to build the edge now.
Ah well, pictures of the first part.
I used a cutoff wheel to clean up all the cracks first and made some criss cross cuts to give the PBA more to bite into. I also sanded the whole area with 40 grit before spreading the PBA.
