Wonderful. I see people on the old pony express road in Utah and they come from Wyo heading for NV on those 750 Harleys or whatever the enduro ones are
You can go most of the way across our state on dirt roads and can go under I 15 and I 70

one of my riding buddy's rode the entire pony express on his BMW1200 solo last year during Covid. He chronicled the history and how it looks today. It was a neat deal. I think he posted the whole thing on adventure riders, he is quite a historian.

Many years ago skied Mt Batchelor for many years.. My buds and I would break for lunch early, then get a large table in the bar.. The place filled up pretty quick, so when a pack of babes came in we had " room " for them.....

Well we have been stuck in the the snag of the Unobtainium that the Mustang dash is made of. Then out of nowhere my boy found one of the coolest guys ever that is a mustang guy in Smithville, MO. He had exactly what we needed to give that pack rat the bird that chewed our dash to bits. This guy sold us this dash, threw in the hvac box, a bunch of other parts just to be a nice guy. He liked seeing the kid sharing the passion and I can't say enough nice things about this guy. He really took care of us.
The boy took a summer job of doing a frame off on a really ty 72 C-10 with sentimental value, soon as he gets it in paint there will be a flurry of Mustang questions and posts to get this build back in the mix! See ya soon

So my last post was July 13, 2022, almost 1 year to the day. We were set to build this 85 GT like wildfire. You guys were throwing tips and we were killing it. Then BAM, couldn't find the parts we needed. AAANNDD. My 16 year old needed a summer job. Enter my Boss who has the only thing his father ever bought brand new. A very very too far gone 72 C10. Negotiations happened and my boy found his summer job and my Boss got cheaper than normal skilled labor, and my kid will have parts money for the GT. He worked his ass off on this thing. Frame swap (original was bent) complete frame off massive amounts of metal replacement/fitment, it was a really dumb build cause of how bad it was. But I think him doing this and completing it in about 10 months is pretty damn impressive (having no budget constraints was a BIG +)! NOW my next post is the "Back to the Mustang" cause we had a busy weekend of sandblasting. Looking forward to gathering more knowledge from you guys in the next few months as we finish the GT. Sorry for the General Motors post. I hope it doesn't trash up your forum too much

Back at it. Won't be long now. We have a new rear end in it and an entire room full of parts waiting to be brought to life. Problem is the boys are going back to college in three weeks.

Advice needed. We purchased the 306 Blue Print engine out of Nebraska. We are completing the front and the ONLY thing not same as factory is the water pump they use is a "Shorty" and my serpentine pulley has a different bolt pattern AND it is a different depth. Google has turned up more questions than answers. Anybody know what the serpentine water pump pulley is for a "shorty" water pump? 1985 GT. Using all stock pulleys and parts except that @#$%water pump.
