This forum has a great group of guys, very friendly and knowledable. There are some cool projects going on here as well. For that reason it's always been the only forum i really hung around on.
That being said, if you're going to swap a non-Ford powerplant and are looking for advice/space to share your progress, I don't think this will be the place you're looking for.

Unfortunately (I realize yours is older Chevy tech) places like LS1tech and similar forums aren't that great. Lot of hostility and bad info. Though there are some great guys on those boards as well.
My advice would be to hang around here for all your chassis type questions and from the looks of it you've got solid Ford knowledge to share as well, and maybe dare to venture to a place like Yellowbullet for drivetrain tech.
This place is worth hanging around just for the people.

It wasn't meant as a dig towards anyone.Your build is beyond what a lot if us can fathom. That car is an amazing piece of craftsmanship that only a few can accomplish.
That being said....you seemed to get a lot of feedback....like...that ugly shifter mock up ( before you made it look awesome )....the tubular front end ( that you almost didn't do )...the issues with the tuning set up...people give feedback where we can.
Its not our fault that you jumped of the cliff into the world of car craft genius. Its not that we don't want to give feedback....but its like telling a pilot how to fly a plane.

I think I found your build thread. Is it "Tannerc91gt's......91 Gt- It Runs, Again....nevermind"? If so, one of the things that I'm not sure about because I haven't tried it on any of my previous mustangs is a manual steering rack. On your thread it looks like you're running one. I know that Flaming River sells one, but I also KNOW there has to be one cheaper that works just as well. I have no desire to buy the Flaming River piece and pay four times the price because of the name attached to it. That's kind of like buying a front fender from AM or LMR for $199 when I can get the same fender from Rock Auto for $55. Have you got any tips for me in that department?
