Progress Thread 88 Gt T-top- Project problem child

Terrible pic, and everything is dirty. She fired up for a few seconds. No idle so far. But I only
Had about half the vac lines hooked up and I know I missed at least one ground. Gotta wait till I get the rest of the exhaust hooked up before I do much More, woke both kids by mistake ...

Yup! My oldest was up outta bed thinking it was joy ride time lol.

Discovered a few fun things tonight. My
Car is taking odd spark plugs. And I'm
Missing the exhaust mount that goes by the trans.

Also realized I didn't hook up the fuel pressure regulator or the bap sensor . Should fire up properly once those are done

Ok, got a bunch done.

Swapped the cobra valve covers for powder coated stockers.

Made new egr vac lines and ran them through the rear main harness.

Tossed the cc plates on

Got mid pipe and mid pipe bracket installed ( thanks mstng93ssp)

Tucked the hvac vac lines

Ordered a power distribution block
So I can move the accessories off the solenoid and into the fender.

Just a few odds and ends left before i start on the rest of the paint.

Ok, no new pics. But the power distribution block came. Most of the power wires are now in the fender. Just gotta relocate the ground wires.

Got the cooling system installed. A stock sized water pump pulley, and the mid pipe and exhaust, along with new vac lines for the egr.

I really like the way the car sounds now. Sounds meaner while being quieter.

Just gotta do a couple odds and ends and then I'll
Hopefully start on pulling the interior and doors for paint.

Ok. Put the car through a couple heat cycles and so far so good with a couple exceptions.

My aftermarket temp gauge broke and I managed to loose the probe so yeah.

But the big one is I'm getting some major light deming when the e fan kicks on. Significantly more than before the wire tuck. I may need to add some extra grounds at maybe a controller with a soft start later.

I decided to try out these crush gaskets and I'm really happy. No leaks at all.

The reusable valve cover gaskets do not seem to be doing the trick, with only limited run time I have leaks. I'm wondering if I should add a little gasket maker.

The inside trim above the doors are a pain to pop out, You have to pull it from both sides, not from the ends, windshield trim at the top same way.
Oh, and take your mirror off the windshield, don't ask me why, it's a sad story, short but very sad.
