Ok. Been a busy but productive weekend.

Spent most of the weekend scrubbing every corner of the garage. It’s now safe for a car again.

I’m almost done with all the window trim. Should have pics this week.

And I’m working on the door panels. I’m replacing the backing boards. Got the first one finished. See the pic below to see how much better it is. I’ll be taking detailed pictures of the secomd one and making a post.

No pictures but was just told she is now in sealer .

Door panels are done. I’ll have the trim done tomorrow. I need to do some mending on my headliner backing board ( new headliners are crazy expensive) and still trying to find new mirrors. Once she is home it’ll be a whirlwind of putting together.

Dunno how well this will show up in pictures. But finishing up restoring my window and t top trim. Both were coated with several layers of different colors of paint.

Not sure how I missed the part of your clear peeling right off, but I know you had put A LOT of time into the car prior to that. Cool to see that even though you aren’t finishing the paint yourself, it is getting done. Glad you chose to hang onto it. Looks like it’ll be sweet when finished.

Yeah, it was touch and go for a few days. Someone offered me the car below and I was close to doing it. My mom and wife and best friend talked me out of it. Im glad too. My painter told
Me his goal is to be my painter for life, so I got a good feeling.

Finishing up my quarter glass. Not perfect but pretty good.

I’m supposed to pick up my mirrors tomorrow and they are guessing Tuesday or Wednesday on the car it’s self.
