92 lx 4cyl swap to 95 parts

hello fellas!

first off, i am from the 94-95 section and i dont know much about the foxes. ive searched and searched and got different answers(both here and google in general) so i figured this was the best place to ask... mods if this is in the wrong section, please move

i had just a few questions if you all dont mind answering for me or sharing some knowledge!

anyway, here goes the questions!

i have a 92lx notch. its a 4cyl auto. i currently have a stock 95 gt that will be getting a somewhat of a overhaul hopefully this winter with a TFS top end w/ a CHP 306 bottom end, beefed up AODE and if i can get my hands on one, a new edge rear end...

my question is... if i drop in the notch my current stock 5.0 motor from my 95, what will i need to make the motor run in the notch?

also will my AODE work in the car? if not will an AOD from a 91 gt bolt up to a 95 5.0? and how about the rear end? brake set up? sorry for all the questions!!

any help would be GREATLY appreciated guys! thank you in advance in everyone that does.

intake mani. timing cover, water pump, thats bout it, well headers, and acessories..

thats why id be taking my motor out and putting in the notch... would i need a certain wiring harness out of a 92 gt or 95 gt? same with computer?

Find a fox body of the same year as your 4cyl car and get the wiring and computer. A 95GT wire harness is going to be totally different than the rest of the wiring in a fox body.

So would it be safe to say that if I put a 95 5.0 in the LX, I can use a 92 gt wiring harness and 92 cpu with a 91 gt aod and everything will run fine? Thanks for your help guys!
