94-95 MAF...

is it true that 94-95 Maf housings are 70mm? I was thinking of completing my intake system, and If I can get a 70mm from a 94-95 gt, Autozone sells them for 98 bux -$60 for core. Thats cheaper than the after market, but either 3mm or 6mm smaller...Or I can spend almost double and get a c&l 73mm or 76mm? If so would there be a gain for going with a 70mm Maf, after all I do have a 70mm TB.

you can get a 70mm in the junk yard i forget but i thought they were on lincolns

You can get a used '94/95 Mustang MAF for $40 or less on ebay.
Youll also need an adapter to fit it to your intake.

That $60 core charge is added on top of the $98 for the part, for a total of $158 if you don't have a core to give them. You could pick up a used ProM for less than that.
