94-95 Mustang 5.0 AODE MS3 Gold Box w/ Microsquirt

Ok next battle is finishing up the transmission setup:

1. I need help determining Where the Trans Signal Return is on the EEC Plug. I have looked over tons of diagrams and cannot find any ground information for the AODE Harness and ultimately where they end up when they make it to the EEC Harness.

2. Same thing as above where does the MLPS gnd come into the EEC?

3. For the VSS+ and VSS-, Keith from 64 Bit Tuning has it listed to install a 20-40ohm shunt resistor to reduce noise. I am not familiar with what i need here exactly. If you know what I need please help. Could I use a 10uF capacitor to reduce noise instead?
4. OD Switch setup. It is listed to wire it to ground. Im thinking this wire comes in on the eec plug on pin 41. If that is the case do I connect EEC pin 41 to Micro 34. Then at the switch take the other wire and ground to the chassis near the radio.

For #3 I use a 1k resistor, the purpose is to shunt some of the spike. remember that a VR sensor produces an AC wave form and at high speeds this can become too much for the input to handle. The micro has a capacitor shunted internally.

#4 the signal is a ground input, you can either use the sgn rtn or chassis ground. both will work

Just to clarify further for the OD switch I will take EEC 36 and jump it to a ground. Then the factory switch will work as designed?
That is correct, this is also how i have mine wired.
other things to think about with the micro is tying in the brake light switch to drop you out of lock up and overdrive, this does require a 12v input to be made a ground signal. if you are willing to build a small board with components i can give you plans to do this with a transistor rather than a relay.
Alternatively you can solder the components and tape them then seal it in heat shrink inside the harness.

Alright got the MS3 in the car and powered up. No smoke as of now. Did have a small wiring error with the CAN wiring. Switched the wires and the Micro connected. Lost my desoldering tool so I still have not connected the mosfets to take a few of the inputs to ground when triggered. So soon as Amazon delivers I can finish that wiring.

The ToDo List that I need help with:

H/L Fan Control
FP Sensor (on PT4, could not figure out how to assign PT4 to a generic sensor; should I repin to the spare 02 input?)
VSS Configuration
MLPS Configuration
IAT Calibration (assume the generic Ford Cal will work next time i connect to the MS)
CLT Callibration (assume the generic Ford Cal will work next time i connect to the MS)
ACCS Configuration
OD Switch

I have been through the software and have found these holes in my configuration. Might be time for some remote support.

Came up with this mosfet board I found on ebay to handle my ground triggers. I removed the screw terminals that came on the board and soldered wires direct. I'm using this for the following functions.

Wideband turn on (complete the PWR GND of that circuit)

TC unlock with Brake engagement
