It still tickles me pink that somebody at Caddilac looked back over the history of Caddilac and big block power and said, "Fck it." Then pointed over the fence.

For the longest time, nobody even paid any attention. Even now, the number of folks that know what's coming is few.

Edit: Present company excluded. Even if you don't like em', you know what they are. You're car guys

Tightened up my blower belt and threw on the new wheels. Made about 11lbs of boost and HAULS. The Michelins hook up excellent and live up to the hype

I had no idea these "V" cars existed until I watched the attached youtube video.... Caddy's were not exactly what we hot rodders drove back in the day.... View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LiLfljRhp6I

Yes definitely plan to get a dyno on it just to see where it stands once everything is dialed in. Feels faster than my V so I’m hoping for around 380whp

Love this pic showing off the meat, bumping up the sidewall profile was a small change but makes the rear look like it means business

I would be super happy with that power!! Still working out two minor drive ability issues with hanging idle and a stumble on low speed downshifts but overall she has been great

Finally got a wash in after all the work that has been done to the car. Still struggling with the car commanding a high idle and idle hanging after coming to a stop. Working with Willie to fix this

Your car looks great! Nice job on the supercharger installation!

How do you like the 285s in the back? Have you had any rubbing issues?

Thank you! Loving these Michelin 285s, hook up even in the cooler weather and absolutely no rubbing. With this wheel setup they took right behind the thick fender lip on our cars

@TOOLOW91 What AFR are you at during WOT? Earlier in the day when temps were about 65° ambient the car was right where I want it, 11.2-11.4 on the meth. But just took it for a run where it’s a little cooler and was seeing 11.6-12.0 even, verified the meth was spraying by priming the system. I’m thinking maybe the controller isn’t getting an accurate boost reference and reading lower so I am injecting less meth than I should be. Very difficult to keep an eye on the meth controller, wideband and boost gauge while the car is hauling azz!

On the scary side, the car made peak boost of 13.2 lbs after retightening the belt. Quite a lot for the stock block and clutch, hoping she continues to take it like a champ. Usually only see 11.5lbs in normal weather

Mine is real fat . I have prob an easy 60-80 hp in my tune up just in my fuel table . Every car is different though with what they like . Non intercooled you’d want to run a little fat and use the fuel too cool but the meth should be doing that . 11.6-12.0 seems a little lean for what you’re doing . How much timing ?

I wouldn’t want to see it leaner then 11.6 if it were me

I always get hesitant when I see it above that 11.6 range. It only seems to do it at night for whatever reason. During the day she’s nice and fat at 11.2-11.3. Not sure where timing is at but I’m thinking of asking him to throw in another percent of fuel for a safety margin even at the expense of power

Also ordered a new flat bottom wheel from Redline Goods in full leather to match the stock color scheme. Hoping it looks OEM+ and like it belongs there. Will take about 10 weeks unfortunately.
