Hello-

I had my car in Jiffy Lube for an oil change a few weeks ago. Later on I discovered that they left the harness for the mass airflow sensor unplugged. I found this about a week later when I noticed the car was having a really hard time accelerating from a dead stop. After I reconnected the harness that problem was fixed but now the car rumbles terribly at any speed. I don't think it's the tires because if I let off the gas it rolls smoothly. The car ran at least a week with the harness loose. Could this have damaged something else or does it sound like a transmission problem? Thanks!

my guess is it messed up your computer settings for air fuel mix. Try disconnecting the negative battery cable over night and reconnect it in the morning. when you start it, let it run for awhile till it stops hunting for the correct idle, should fix your problem unless it did some serious damage to some rings, very unlikely though. I'm guessing you have an automatic if your suspecting the tranny, I wouldn't have any comment on that.
