I'm looking to swap out my rims on my black 01 and I'm looking for pics of black stangs with the DD black bullits w/silver lip, preferably 18x9 / 18x10 and also tire size recommendations. I currently have 285/35/18's all the way around but it's been suggested that those tires are too big for my front 18x9 wheel. Thanks for your help!

18x9's and 18x10's with 275's all around...I just ordered 285's for the rears

285/40/18 on back, 265/40/18 up front. Will be getting wider tires in the back cause I've curbed my wheels going through drive thru's.

Do you have an issue on the fronts where the rim sticks out furhter than the tire? I'm looking to purchase those wheels from american muscle and they don't recommend that tire size on that wheel for the 99+ cars for there is a change of the rim sticking out further. They recommended 275 up front.

No, the rim and tire are flush, which is a "bad" thing if you like to meet up with curbs.

You could run a 275, but no bigger than that. Some brands of 265s run bigger, some run "true." The Kumhos on the car run true, but others like KDW's run big.
