99 cobra 10.5 rear wheels

that depends on your tire choice. I am putting on some 18x10's on my 97, and the only decision I cant make is 295, or 285/35/18's. There might be a small bolt that might need to be ground down a little, but that might be for the irs guys. Where both in the same boat. I would imagine a 295 on a 10.5" rim, would be like a 285 on a 10" rim. looks wise(sidewall) I personally think a 295 will fit, but I don't want to make that decision yet. Good Luck, let me know what you decide, and if it fits. Chris

i'd say the 285/35's should fint fine. do you have lowering springs or adjustable shocks? i'd recomend getting the adjustible shocks, that way you could raise it a half or quarter an inch if need be, with lowering springs your are at the mercy of whatever size springs you have, no adjustment...

I have the AFS '03 Cobra 10.5s on the rear of my '01. 285/35/18 Nitto 555.. I wanted a 295 but Nitto doesn't make one....no mods necessary.

It's going to depend on your tire and the offset of the wheels.. I think Nittos run small.

Good Luck!

315's on 10.5 rim

I'm running BF Goodrich 315's on the back of mine, with a very small spacer to avoid the IRS bolt (contact with the IRS bolt is only an issue if the car is airborne or on a lift).

My car is dropped about 2 inches (I think) with H&R sport spring package. I'll come down on my wheel well once in a while, but it rubs the tire tread on the bottom edge of the fender causing no damage to either. I'm sure sooner or later I'll rub a little paint off that inside edge, but it hasn't happened yet.

See pic for side view!
