Sure you can, just about all you'll need is the bracketry and compressor from a latemodel 5.0. You can also get a Sanden compressor with a v-belt pulley from a pre-serpentine 5.0. You'll nee to change alot more if you go with serpentine.

Unfortunately it's going to be some time before I ever get around to doing this. A friend of mine and I were going thru some left over parts that he had in his garage from a 90 5.0 and he happens to have the A/C compressor and brackets. I figure if it'd work then whenever I get around to it I"ll do the pulley conversion and go to work on the A/C. I figured someone else would have already done something like this and that they would chime in with everything else that they used. I need to get my car running first, lol. Plus we've got a baby on the way so there goes all my mod money, lol.

Right through the box and the whole thing is a huge PITA to service. I had to pull the entire dash and console to change the heater core in my '89 and it took me a weekend. The manual said to remove the HVAC box too, but I said "Hell with that!"
