Guy put a post-it on my car saying he wants to buy it.
He's looking for a daily for the wife and something to race on the weekends.
Now I am torn on if I want to sell now or not.
I don't need the money and it drives prefectly fine.
But, it is a third vehicle and I don't race anymore.
I told him $6k with the supercharger and $4k without.
He seemed interested without the supercharger option.
Just not sure if I really want to sell it.

Woke up to a 3-mile run, shower, spent the day in the motor pool soaking wet, covered in mud, doing inventory on all the items on our trucks. another day in deployed paradise. spent all of this afternoon on stangnet reading through year old threads, looking up prices on different parts, dreaming of which way I can go with my motor, and generally keeping myself occupied counting the days until i get home.
Well here's to your days going by quickly and you going home sooner rather than later! Thank you for defending our country!

thanks man. it seems as if the closer i am to going home, the slower the days go by. but already into the year 2012 and 7 months in. not much longer left now

working on my garage project, i was ripping a thin piece of wood and nicked my thumb with the table saw.
luckily, it was not anywhere near as bad as it could have been. i still spent a couple hours at the ER though.
i am one of those guys who USED TO say, "it won't happen to me, i can take the guard off because i will be careful." what an idiot.
now i say, "RESPECT THE SAW, YOU DUMBASS!!!!"

So to add to this thread, I'm looking for a project car. Years 1990-95 LX, GT, Cobra, whatever. My son is a teenager soon so he's been wanting to do a project together. I know what he's thinking, in a few years he'll be driving this around.

Vib, you might consider my stang, which I will be sellling as a roller after the motor is out. If you want it, I can turn that around pretty quickly, and the wife will be very happy.
It is pretty darn clean, fresh paint and new seat covers, tubular K-member, MM adjustable rear arms, new radio, ...

He's finishing it closer to his home, we lived 45 minutes apart. The suspension is done and he's been driving it. Don't know why he hasn't added to that thread, I'll ask.

Ok, you win. I drilled through my finger so it was just a bloody hole, your's is gross. Did you get a tetnis shot? I went to the Med Express and got one. They took x-rays of my finger, I was really close in drilling through tendon, got lucky. The gave me that shot in was painful. They told me it would hurt and did. Had a black and blue mark for 3 days on my arm.
That's a really crappy wound. that's going to be tender for a long time, and take forever for the skin to grow back.

no tetanus was necessary. i cut my finger cutting the turkey a couple of years ago, and had one then.
and yes, whenever i make a mistake and hit it against anything (even just lightly), it hurts like hell. the nerve endings must be very exposed.
at least it finally stopped seeping goo.
