Ok, i have all the parts. The axles from the 96 are longer. Im told that is normal, but will it change the offset needed for the wheels? How much? I used a 95 rear end in my cobra kit car and the offset i had on the stang worked right for the kit. It was designed to use a 87-93 rear, so im scratching my head after seeing the axles.

Main thing is, what do i need for an E Brake cable? Or how do i need to modify one to work?

Lastly, Will 15" prostars fit over the 95 front brakes and 96 rear disks? (3.5" fr and 8" rr)

I know SOMEONE has done this swap, so any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

Sorry, but im used to building cars from the ground up and fitment issues can be resolved with a flamin' hacksaw and a Mig Thanks in advance!

The axle housing itself is the same width from '79-'98...I've got the housing from a '98 Cobra with stock '84 length axles in mine...with SVO/MKVII brakes (flipped bracket method)

If you use stock '94-'98 length axles, you have to get all the brake hardware from a similar year...

ck out http://mjbobbitt.home.comcast.net/mustang/5lug.html

could probably be of some help

If you use the SN95 disk brake hardware from the rear with the '96 Axles, it will fit fine. It will push the rears out 0.75" each side

What brakes are you running?? GT brakes?

Those would be 10.8" front and 10.5" rear brakes. The 15" wheels should fit fine.

The handbrake Mods are very easy and you can find them on Ford Racings Web Site on the Instructions for the M2300K kit.
