any body had a bad experience with customer service at Pro Flow air meter, I send a mass to get it calibrated and the guy at the phone was rude and not helpful. any way I decide to go C&L better guys, I just wanna know if it just me or someone went thru the same thing.:nonono:

I spent some time on the phone with those guys... he was a total dick, i asked if i could buy the meter direct, and he said only if i paid full list price, i explained to him that i was local and could drive up there(pro-m is 30 minutes from my house). He told me i could but i still had to pay more than what i could buy it from a vendor. Then he spent the next 5 minutes criticizing me telling me that i was buying too big of a meter, my throttle body was too big BLA BLA BLA, the guy was an ass for sure.

So you guys would rather buy a second rate air meter, than deal with a person who might insult your tender feelings?

My opinion, it doesn't matter how 'nice' or 'polite' the C&L phone reps are... the meter is out dated and there are MUCH better options available.

Just my opinion though,

I didnt say anything about not buying a meter, Pro-M is the way to go, thier stuff works. The OP asked if anyone had a bad expierience with the reps...

And alot of people would rather buy from someone thats not being arrogant and an *******, i mean your spending hard earned money on a product, dosent mean you have to be belittled or talked down to. Customer service goes a long way in my book, this is why i buy from summit and not jegs

I didn't suggest that you get a different meter either, I just stated my opinion on your OP as well.

My C&L Works, same as my old 70mm Pro-Flow (However I did not deal directly with them.

I'm actually saving up for a DBX from Anderson Ford.

Good Luck in any case.

They make a good product, but the guy that I spoke with was a complete A$$ to me on the phone. I called first when I was planning out my project and gave him a call right before I purchased - he gave me different advice the second time I spoke with him and he tried to tell me that he wouldn't have ever told me what he told me the first time...I had written it down, everything down to the part number. Customer Service drives business and although I did purchase my meter, I would definitely look around for an alternate vendor if I have to do it again - I am also not looking forward to any future dealings with them.

it's funny it seems to be a matter of opinion. I've heard nothing but good things about Pro-M meters and nothing but bad about the C&L's. Then I get my car tuned and my tuner says Pro-M's are hard to tune on blower cars...........go figure...........?? I even bought the shorty blower style.
