OK, get this: last week I called the Ford dealership to see how much they would charge me to install my 3.73's. They quoted me at $250 for the installation, which sounded good to me, so I took the car up there Monday morning. It's now 3:30pm Tuesday afternoon and they just called to tell me that they won't have it done today.
Supposedly, they started working on it yesterday, but then they called at about 3:00pm to tell me that they couldn't get the ABS sensors loose, that they were "froze up". They told me they'd let it soak in penetrating oil overnight.
Now they called to tell me that they got one of the sensors loose, but that the other one is still "froze up tight under there, and it just WILL NOT come loose". And that's the excuse they're giving me for not having the gear installation done yet.
