I have a 289 with about 275hp and 300tq, it has a mild cam with .496 lift, and 3.55 gears, 2000 stall converter. I was wondering how much of a hp and tq increase would a compcams, xe274h and a set of trickflow twisted wedge heads give me, also changing the rocker arms also. and right now my compression is 9.5:1, how much would the cam and heads raise my compression, also im going to swap the converter for a 2800+ stall. Please let me know what you guys think.

You have 275 hp and 300ftlbs torque with nothing but a cam?? have you ever been on a dyno?

Are the pistons stock?

If so...you wont be able to use the TW heads.

the 274H cam is a fairly large cam....especially for your application, again, with stock pistons, i doubt you could use that cam.

if things were set up properly...I could see a 75hp + increas

Yeah I have stock rods and pistons, put no, i have a edelbrock 600cfm carb, cam, weiand stealth intake, march pulleys, electric fan, headers, dual flowmasters with H-pipe. So if I did a 347 stroker kit, with the tw heads and that cam, it would have alot more power?
