Adj. FP Regulator settings

I've got my engine torn down a bit for some winter work, and I'm ready to put in my adj. FP regulator - I think.
Other mods are in my sig.

Anyway, how do I set this, and what should I set it at to be safe? I know I need a gauge, but what else do I do?

I will be getting a tune in spring but I will also have to drive the car to the shop. So I need to be safe!

Start the car, pull the vaccum line off of the FPR and put your finger over the hole in the vac line, set the pressure by turning the threaded screw on the top, start at 38psi, lock down the threaded screw, hit the throttle a few times to see if the pressure stays where you set it.

Re attach the vac line and your already to go!
