Hey guys,

I need some advice here, I finally found someone to sell my Eibach Pro-Kit springs from my V6 to! So I'm going to have $350 to use on the car, plus a little bit extra if needed. So on my list of mods with that price range I think that I either want to lower the car using H&R SuperSport Springs or do some exhaust work, either MagnaFlow X-Pipe (cat'd or off-road) or a MagnaFlow Cat-back. What are your thoughts on what I should I do?

I'm pretty sure that by the time I save up enough money to buy the supercharger I want for my car while I'm in school I'll be waiting till I graduate! I want to get a Kenne Bell and we all know how much those cost! :) If not check out The Mustang Shop website! ;) So without the option of saving for a blower Russ and Joe (I think that's your name... I forgot! lol! I've been away for so long!) what's your opinions? I've been leaning towards the springs, but over in the 4.6 forum they think I should go with a off-road x-pipe. I'm a little worried about going off-road because of emissions type stuff...And is the performance decrease really that noticeable vs. a cat'd pipe? If I get an off-road pipe I'll have to get my chip reprogrammed to turn off the engine check light (not a big deal but still). So let's hear some more opinions! :) Thanks guys!

Here's an idea-do the springs and just mufflers. You can get a decent set of muffs for about 200 or so and the springs shouldn't be too much. Good looks and good sound....might have a dish like 50 extra bucks out of your own pocket.

That's an good idea, but the H&R SuperSport springs are gonna run me about $350 which is gonna run the fund dry! I think my final decision is going to be to get the springs and the over the winter I'll try to save up enough to do the mid-pipe and cat-back all at the same time. Oh and so now that I'm gonna do this spring thing does anyone wanna help the install cause? A case of beer could accompany the help! :) Let me know if anyone is interested!

P.S. - Hey Joe where and how much was your brake setup you did with the Bullitt caliper and the cross-drilled slotted rotors?

I have a Bassani of-road X. Who cares about emissions, we don't test yet. I am just going to weld in some muffs. I haven't decided which either. It will be something like Mac Flowpaths, or maybe the Hookers.

As for the brakes, I bought mine through RCO Enterprises in Ont. They have ads in MM&FF. The calipers were just under 400 shipped. The rotors I picked up off of Ebay for 200. I have to do the rears. Hopefully by next summer I will have them on (along with an intercooler).

So would anyone be willing to help with a spring install? Or could someone recommend a good place to have the springs installed? I've read the stuff on how to install them on MustangWorld, but I don't have the tools/equipment to do a job like that! Plus it's always nice to have someone around who has more experience doing this kinda work!
