Hey :SNSign:!

I was thinking about putting 17 x 10.5 on the back of my 97 gt and I was wondering if anyone could post some pics of this body style with. You can also post some 18 x 10 pics as well because I would like to compare.

Thanks in advance for any pics

It was not so much a question about style and color. I wanted to see how that sat in the rear and how they looked in the fender. BTW thanks for digging this thread out of the dumpster.

I think aerodynamically the rear tires don't make much of a difference. Your gas mileage will suffer due to the extra mass of the larger wheels and the extra rolling resistance of the wide contact patch. I notice a 2mpg highway loss when I put my 275's on vs the 245's.

That is until someone posts their SN95 with the 18" Saleens ......They're both great looking and it' just as tough to make the decision based upon looks. If money enters into it 17s tires are much cheaper.

I think 9.5 is as wide as I would go. 10.5's look to big on an aero IMO
