AFR 165's or 185's???

What do you think would work best with my combo so far. I am planning on changing the cam at the same time i do the heads. Also i probably won't be adding a blower anytime soon (few years). There is a set of AFR 185's in my city right now for cheap but i am not sure if 165's would be better. Thanks.

If you have the stock block the 165's are plenty. The 185's would be overkill with 2.02 valves.

Overkill?? so would they hurt my hp or just not add anymore than the 165 would?

The 165's will give killer velocity.. 165's is the way top go with 302 cubic inchs. If it was a 331 or 347 you should go 185's.

I forgot to add, with the big valves of the 185's, it will not make the velocity down low like the afr165's will. Meaning you will lose quite a bit downlow and up top as well im guessing since they are way overkill.

You'll also have to notch the pistons with the 185s.
