I used to have the LC1 for the neon.....but it fried in short order, now I have the AEM, in all honesty I like the the AEM much better....it comes with a gauge, the controller is more convienently packaged, I always found the LC1 controller ackward and hard to keep out of the way, the LC1 cost $180 when I got it, the AEM cost $225, the only bad thing about the AEM, is the fact that its a gauge, some people may not like a digital gauge in their classic...I am planning on an AEM unit in my mustang as well...I plan on building a flip-up panel to hide both the boost and the AFR gauge in the console(since both gauges are really only needed while tuning). That being said, I agree that unless its a really wild NA engine you probably dont need one for tuning, its a good thing to have, but NA, a narrowband sensor should be fine
