ive converted my efi to carb and have been runing this set up for about a month now but i want more power the intake i have on it now is a stock one from a 85 mustang i was wondering which type of intake would give me a little more power and does it matter that some intakes dont have the back water ports that are on my heads?

Duel plane = Weiand Stealth

Single plane = Victor Jr

Which one you choose depends on what you're doing with the car. A street only or occasional weekend raced driver would be better off with the duel plane, whereas a more squeezed to the max racer would be better off with the single plane. There are exceptions to this rule though...most people told me i'd never run 12s with a duel plane but i am, and most people say you lose a lot of bottom end with a single plane but on a well built stroker you may not.

what do u have done to the motor does it have heads, is it a stroker, what cam do u have. if u say all stock, i think some heads or a cam or both. if i remember the 85 mustangs intake was a good intake. changing the intake is not going to make alot more power that u can fell it it may do a few 10ths in the 1/4

i was wrong i talked to this guy that knows alot and he said that the 85 intake sucked and the only thing good on that intake is it set the carb low so it will work on a stock hood. he said that people that took that intake off did pick up alot
