Any negatives about running 10.5" rear wheels?

I am about a phone call away from ordering a set of 17x9 and 17x10.5 black bullitts for my stang. Are there any reasons for not going with 10.5" rims in the rear. In other words, are there any negaive opinions about running such a wide rear tire. I have 315/35/17 tires ready for the new rims.

Other than....I already have them! :nono:

They were unique when I bought them, and now everyone and their mother has a set. Ah well, time to switch them out for some black FR500s.

What tires are you thinking about? I've had a few different ones, and the Sumitomos I am running now handle like butt in the rain. The locker doesn't help much though.

I dont think FR500s are too unique either if that is what you are going for. You can expect to have a Mustang and not have what someone else has. Especially on the internet, where most enthusiasts go and post pics. Are you trying to be unique on the board or in "real life?"
I have deep dish rims and Ive yet to see another person out on the road with anything besides stock rims on their car.

Again, whats already been said COST OF TIRES and you cant rotate them. But I think the way they look greatly outweigh those things.
