Any one put 17x10.5 wheels on a Fox

So my plans for this winter is to go five lug and want to go either bullitts or FR500's but the 17x10.5 are cheaper and i can get tires cheaper. Other then the 18x10's are more expensive and i like the lip on the 17x10.5's better it looks bigger. So has any one seen them on a fox and if so or have done it what do you have to do to make them fit and adding mini tubbing the car is out of the question. Also post pics of any you have thanks.

I did..No Mini Tub just Beat the inner fender in. Rolled the lips, No Quads,

If you go 5-lug, you need to do the type on the rear that retains stock fox width. That means 5-lug drum, or a 5-lug disk conversion using the North Race Car brackets

What he (^) said. Make SURE you keep the same Fox track-width in the back. I had that issue with the old wheels/axles on the car. A combination of wrong offset, wrong backspacing, slightly longer axles, and 9'' wide wheels = LOTS of rubbing, and me taking chunks out of the rears. Now, with the proper offset (FR500 replicas), I can fit a 10.5'' wheel on the rear and I have only minor rubbing issues (full tank of gas, multiple passengers, etc.).

you can also cut stock GT brackets and save yourself 150 bucks

look at the thrid page when you cut the bracket, it shows a good way to do it and keep it one piece

I used the NRC bracket and it worked perfectly. Didn't know at the time you could cut a GT one (well, I mean anything can be modified, just didn't know people did this).

I seem to recall that you couldnt use the e-brakes if you use modified brackets???
