Well, I'm wanting to buy a cervini hood, and probably have it shipped to BOP, and I was advised by wifesweetstang to find someone else who wants one to save on shipping.

So, is anyone planning on buying one of these in the next month or so? If so you can piggyback on mine and split the shipping. If so, PM me I'm on here pretty much everyday as most of you know.

Jer, I guess they stopped the save on shipping :( program, ...

i plan on buying a hood for my 86. i was gonna use maier racing out of california, they have awesome fiberglass pieces. You should check them out, i bet they would give a discount on shipping for sure.
plus most of their hoods are under/around 400 anyway. a 3" cowl for my car is only $359

let me know

aww that sucks. Still getting one though. Too bad I dropped 3k today so maybe it will be another month before I get the hood.

Go cervini's only the best.

this is definitely true. There are hundreds of hoods out there cheaper than cervini, but I've heard from probably 10-15 mustang guys with horror stories out there. They fought like hell to get other hoods to fit, and many of them ended up buying a cervini later anyway, so they spent 200 bucks for a fiberglass garage sale sign holder. I think its worth the extra money not to fight with it.

Yea...I liked the LOOK of my hood on my 91 too.....looked great, but was seperating slighly and had to remove the passenger side wiper to raise it. Dont go cheap....or you will likely end up doing it again.

I am looking at HO Fibertrends they made the hood for FORD on the 95 COBRA R I have heard good things about them they have the hood that I want and not to bad of a price. cervinis got stupid with there price and they took the 10 % discount away if you buy two products you can still save on the shipping if you buy two hoods I believe the cost was $140 (I talked to cervinis like two weeks ago)for one hoods or two hoods shipped I need a hood right now just can't aford right now

hahaha any of you guys who think maier racing products are junk need to read up cause they are anything but. ask around...

im honestly kinda dissaponted in you guys for jumping the gun like that.

Drew

Never said they were, just saying I (we) have seen many pos hoods from xxxx (some of the companies change their names once it gets known)... Im advocating caution, and stating hoods that I have seen in person and said "wow, that looks good." instead of the typical good from far, but far from good....

Yes Cervinis may be $$$, or Harwood, or whoever, but they fit, and fit well. And they dont take an extra 10 hours to prep for paint on the underside like some (you know what a paint guys time is worth?)...

Buyer beware, thats all.
