Anyone ever put on 235/45's?

I know it may sound stupid, but has anyone ever tried 235/45's? There is a certain tire I want, but it doesn't come in 245/45, the nearest size is 235/45. The 235/45 is just a bit smaller in diameter, but not enough to really effect the speedo. It still is made for an 8.0'' rim, and the tread width is about 0.5'' less. Will it look a bit off, or will anybody even notice?

I think so to. I was going to run some all seasons year round, but think I will just buy some winter tires. I am thinking now I willl be better off with 16'' wheels from a V6 or GT with snow tires. It might be the same price too. I am sure somebody has some 16-inchers from there 99 or 00 GT laying around.

yea someone on here has regular cast iron rims on their car for winter tires

they are going to look real thin and expose alot of your rim trust me i wouldnt recommend them
