I've got a 1991 gt, I was looking under the dash and found this weird chord/tube with a yellow button thing coming out of it. Anybody know what that is?

It looks like a hose that leads to that yellow button. I pushed it. Nothing happened.

Is that a brake switch? Maybe? Probably not? Push it and have someone see if you brake lights come on. I bet @Mustang5L5 will know.

Cruise control vacuum dump. Connected to the clutch or brake, I forget which. It obviously isn't so it isn't disengaging the CC when you press one of the two

My car doesn't have cruise, so I'm not positive how it mounts as I've never dealt with it first hand

If it’s for cc it’s gotta be connected to the brake.
