I really want to do this to my car, but I can't seem to find much info on how to do it on the net. The closest I have seen is a kit that includes a "black box" that controls a sparkpulg in your tailpipe. But they say you can't have a cat. converter, since it doesnt allow unburned gas to make it out the tailpipe.

THey say that if you just hook up a sparkpulg to a switch, without using thier kit, you cna blow up your muffler. How?

And if I want to keep my cats (which I prolly will, sicne my car would be too loud without them since I dont have mufflers), is there stilla way to shoot flames? I like the look of flames that shoot out about a foot or so and look like afterburners...not the kind that go out and up like a big fireball.

I know some of you have pulled this off, so how did you do it?

Thanks.

Just get some full length headers custom built to exit out the sides of your front fenders and you'll shoot all the flames you want without being McGyver about it.

why you want to, not sure, mine did for a while, because of a horrible exhaust leak between the header and h pipe, and I have no cats, did the trick, my friends loved...it got real old real fast, not too mention it didn't run right and had the tick that comes with the leak, but hey...its one way for you to do it, haha

okay so after some reading, you can use a non catted V8 to do it... or u have to buy a special kit. so either u have a v8, or v10 with no cats or u have to buy th kit

or if you install a turbo kit, and get a two step rev limiter with a manual transmission, and set your two step at lets say 4500 rpm, then floor it, you will get flames out of the back. But it only works when your standing still, not while your driving. People with turbos and manuals, use a two step to build boost before the launch. Try that if you have the funds.
