Anyone running BFG KDW2's or Kumho MX's?
Hey guys. Its time for some new tires. My Sumitomos withstood plenty of aggressive driving, burnouts, donuts, WOT runs, 15 passes down the track, and 15k miles.
I'm going with a better tire this time since i have the money to do so. I have been looking at either the Kumho MX's in a 275/35/18 or the BFG KDW2 in a 275/35/18. The price difference is negligible between the two.
The issues that concern me are
*Dry Traction
*Treadwear and longevity
*Performance at the track.
I was actually looking at getting the BFG Drag Radials as well, but since this car is a daily driver and sees rain and highway driving quite a bit, im hesitant. Also, i heard they don't last long at all. I would get the Nitto Drag Radials, but don't really feel like shelling out $510 for a set of rear tires in a 275/35/18. Do any of you know how long either of these drag radials last and if they are streetable on a daily driver with a trip to the track once a month?
Thanks In Advance
