i have been to the track a few times and i have been running 14.4 at 101 with my 60 foots being 2.4. are the 18's killing my time? this week i'm gettin pro stars with BFG DR's on so hopefully i'll get a better time, any suggestions on what i should run. and it's with the Cobra. thanks -Jeff

they aren't helping. as far as the 60', i think the tire is going to matter more than the rim. after traction is established, then the weight of the rim is going to effect your times.

I can't say from experience, but what I can tell you is that 18s are heavy. I just recently switched from 18s back to my OEM 17s and was amazed by how much lighter the 17s were. I didn't notice any performance gains on the street, but just picking them up to mount them was a night and day difference in weight. So I imagine that the 18s would have a negative effect at the track just because they are heavier.
