alright, well I decided I want to keep my stock bullitt's or get bullitt replicas in anthracite, and I want to stick with 17's. Here's the problem...

I want to stick with 17x8's and 245/45/17's in the front.

As for the rear, I definitely want to go wider. 275 or 285/40/18 would be perfect. I do not want to go with 315/35/17's. Two 17x9 bullitt's for the rear would be perfect...however, I don't think Ford makes the Bullitt's in 17x9, therefore I'd have to go with the replicas...but I heard the replica's are a little bit darker than the stocker's and have a shinier lip. I'm afraid this will end up bugging me, cuz I want all 4 rims to look the same.

That being said, so far I have a few options...

1) keep my stock 17x8's all around and just put 275/40/17's on the back. Get spacers on the rear wheels to have them stick out a bit more. I'd only have to buy 2 tires for the rear. I'd rather not stick a 275/40/17 on a 17x8 rim though.

2) Buy 17x9's all around and go wider in the front (what size would be good? i don't want to have tracking/rubbing problems) and rear. I'd have to buy 4 new tires and 4 new wheels.

3) Buy 2 17x9's and not care about the slight color/shine differences between the factory and replica wheels. I'd have to buy 2 new tires and 2 new wheels.

if you have any suggestions or advice, please let me know.

The color difference IS noticable and it WILL drive you crazy. I'd check out www.wheelreplicas.com and go with a 17x10.5 rear, 17x9 front, or even 18x10 rear, 18x9 front. Both look incredible. I think 305's will fit on either if you think the 315's are too big. There are tons of pictures of guys with these rims (various sizes) on www.imboc.com Check it out under furums/mods or do a search in the mods section. RETRO ROCKS!

good luck
