just looks like a little seat time is needed & you'll be good to go don't worry too much about it, it'll get better with some practice

Your 60foot is way to high! Keep practicing your launches and watch those times drop!

Don't feel bad. I took mine to the track for the first time last week and couldn't get better then a 2.4 60'. I need to practice my launching pretty badly.

it tough too learn too launch right. what i would do if i was you is.

1. practice when you can. try different launch rpm's on my car i like to go above 3500..

2. when at the track forget the light. let the thing go. that way your not tring too rush it and you will learn what your car likes at the track. BTW the R/T has no effect on your et. the clock starts once you are moving.

...or mine:
60': 1.90
330': 5.487
660': 8.443 @ 82.86
That's with the stock h-pipe and N/A.
On street tires before the gears it was easy to launch, just walk it out of the hole.

Not too bad, 60' still needs some work though. What was your mph? Get that 60' down to around a 2.10 and it'll go 9.20's I bet!
OH ****, just saw you're in P'cola! I live in Milton and was out at the track tonight. I wasn't running. My car was parked behind the stands next to a yellow SRT-4 and an IS 3000. Tag says "1SLOGT", did you see it? I don't really remember seeing your car there though.

Used to go out there everyonce in a while. When I get my tranny fixed I'll be out there lookin for some 8.30's-8.20's (depending on the weather and how much more wear my nitto's will have, lol). Prolly won't be out tongiht, well I will, just not with the car thing. I turned 21 about 3 weeks ago, and I'm goin to Flounders and some other places.
