I live in Dallas Texas and we rarely get snow or ice (maybe once a year), so I was wondering if spending the extra 200 bucks for Stainless steel exhaust would be worth it in my area?
I agree with that...just go with the BX...they have the same performance as the SS except they just don't look as nice...both have polished tips and thats the only part you really see anyways unless you look under the car...

Well, one of my friends talked me into getting the SS because he said that the BX can get pits, dings, and dints real easily. Even though I won't see it I guess I'll pay the extra money for a better product. I went to dallasmustang.com and they are selling it for 729.95 and install for 80. I figure that's about as cheap as I can get. Anyone know of a better place?

i live in okc and we rarely get snow and ice also. i went with the bx series x pipe and catback. i havent noticed any pits or dings. the only thing aluminum is the pipes. the mufflers are polished ss as well as the tips.

Im in Fort Worth man and i just installed a prochamber mid pipe(Not stainless steel) I'm not too worried about it here. I think the stock pipes are just aluminized steel...plus they are crush bent 2 1/4" pipes and not mandrel bent 2 1/2" pipe...not having the crush points in there with the mandrel bent stuff really increases exhaust flow...a lot of people do just have mufflers welded in, but that involves having a shop weld them in, whereas a whole catback someone can put in themselves...
