BBK o/r X-pipe + flowmasters = Stink and TOO FREAKING LOUD

I got a BBK o/r x pipe and it was so freakin loud i had to tone it down by throwing some dynomax bullet mufflers on it where the hi flow cats would go. It sounds more civilzed without losing any power.

Did you just cut into your BBK and add the bullet muffs?

I like the sound of my stang now. It's still more raspy at higher RPM's under load than I'd like, but 100% better than the Flows.

The Turbo mufflers were like half the weight of the flows.

Indeed. And it was a big improvement. It still sounds aggressive, even loud- just not like its on its last lung. No real reason for a beautiful car to sound like a monster.
