bbk quadrant question

Just finishing up the bbk guadrant setup, do I need to reuse the large spring? If so where would it attach to? My buddy started the install for me but left me with a few parts and Im not sure what goes and what stays. THANKS

There are no springs on aftermarket clutch quadrants. The spring on the stock quadrant was for the ratcheting mechanism of the quadrant to ensure that that the cable stayed tight against the prawl.

Your adjustment with the aftermarket quadrant will be at your firewall adjuster.
