Switched the 28" M&Hs out on the '07 to 26" M/T's. The track was very crowded, so I didn't get time to really dial them in. But it was getting progressively better, so I'm still confident that I can be one of the few (if not the only) people to run 12's with 3.31's and no internal work or FI.

So, in summary, I've got this car down to 13.1. Best time with the '05 is 13.0, and that's in 4.10's. Just a bit better launch (in other words, dialing in the 2 step) and I'll hit that 12 mark.

I took in car video, which I will post up Saturday afternoon, so check back.

Slips are from left to right, last run, middle run, the first run.

Nice! If your car had the 3.55 option you'd probably have done a 12.99999 haha.

How far are you from Byron? I am guessing pretty far? I am itching to go to the track this weekend, I've only gone once this year and only had 3 crappy runs. But noone I know wants to go... I live like equidistant from byron and union grove.

That's about how long it takes me to get to Byron too I think. Maybe a little less. Would you be interested in meeting up there some day, or is it too far?

That's awesome. I can't wait to get my GT... I'm so dying to get back to the track. It's been four long years since I last ran the 1/4... ugh.

Possibly. My fiance usually works Fridays, and we jet up to Cordova as soon as she gets home. I'm not sure we'd be able to make it up there in time to get more than 1 or 2 passes in. How far are you from here?

congrats!

I have only raced the eighth, but comparing my numbers to yours I should be in the running for 12s if i get some track tires. (with the 3.55s of course, no runs on the 4.30s yet.) my trap speeds were in the 83.75 range, but 60s and ETs are slower. we will have to line them up at MMM next month. You bringing Scarlett or Ellie?

I would go in the morning on saturday or sunday rather than a friday night though. I don't know how far I am from cordova, I live in the northwest side of Chicago.

Probably about 3 hours away from Cordova then. Its not far off 88 just before you get the the Iowa/Illinois border.

I REALLY whish I could make it to MMM.... I just got a new work schedule and I work on Saturday and Sunday now... Bahh!!! I'll plan vacation time for next year for sure....

I didn't know they did T&T on those days. A Sunday may be an option, then.

BigCat, if we come, we'll probably bring Scarlett.

This sunday they don't have T&T, so I guess I won't be going Next weekend they do though. Great Lakes has T&T Sunday, but it's like $40 to race there, which I think is rediculous.

very nice, that's my goal as well is a 12.999 with the 3.31's...hadn't been to the track this year but just got an xcal 3 and vmp tune a couple weeks ago and hopefully that'll get me closer. I only got one pass to make the 13.36@103 because I didn't have a helmet and got booted. Like I said hopefully soon though, and your very close! what are you launching at? What are your mods?

Also, what kind of camera set up do you have...same with the stand? I'd love to get something similar

^ I know what you mean. My uncle and my cousins collectivly own 3. Two hard tail rail cars and one soft tail. One with a GM 572, one with a real pontiac big block (Non GM) and one is going to have a E85 powered built lightnting motor in it.
