Best package for the money...

Hey anybody know any good packages out there that have like both intakes, a cam, and heads?? but good stuff...and what im looking is mostly low end torque and hp...high end doesnt really matter that much to me..but is nice to have...
i mean what do i want? i really like the gt40 intake kit but its too expensive..what bout the edelbrock performer? i dont want anythign way junk cheap either..i want it to go on right without problems..including the cam, heads.....what do u guys suggest? cause i wanna start buying ****...
by the way i have a 70mm throttle bottle, granetelli maf meter, cold air kit, msd ignition, ffrp wires, and custom built AOD with shift kit and 2400 stall.

Holley and Trick Flow both make one. The TFS kit comes with a few more parts and costs a little less. They both claim about the same horsepower and torque. If I was going to get a kit, I would get the Trick Flow.

Summit sells the TFS kit I know that, not sure about the Holley kit. I think so though. Call them and ask. The kits are around $2000-$2200.

In the end, I'm going to be running an extrude honed Cobra upper, ported lower, custom cam, trick flow twisted wedges, custom chip, 327 stroker, and an S-trim. I just want over 400rwhp and matching torque. 405rwhp would be fine.

So your parts don't have to be the same brand name of course, but they do have to match to get the most HP out of the combo. Just see what other people are getting out of their combos and at what RPM, decide what you want from there.

With an AOD and 2400 stall, I recommend using a longer runner intake like the GT40 intake. If it cost too much new, the GT40, Cobra, and Explorer (all 3 make same power) can be found on a regular basis on ebay. They sell in the $250-300 range.

I ported a Cobra lower for MattZ281LE who used AFR 165 heads and a mild Crower 15511 cam who made 306RWHP and 329RWTQ with torque over 250ft-lbs from 2,200-6,000 rpm. He reported excellent low speed driveability too. That will be important too with the AOD.
