I bought a used set of Crane Cobra rockers almost a year ago and one of the rockers had a munched tip. I went to the Ford parts counter to find that they cost $42.73 each. I figured that that plus what I paid for the set was still a deal, so I caved and bought it. Now after some thorough cleaning and inspecting, I found another one thats questionable. Rather than risk having a failing rocker eat a valve in my new heads, I'm going to replace this one too.
Does anyone know of a cheaper place than Ford to get a single rocker? I've seen them in Jegs and Summit for $22-25, but not the 1.7 pedestal one I need.
Then again, I can get a new set of the same rockers for $150...
