Dont order from American pony parts!
Hey Man,
I can tell you from first hand experience, Dont order from American pony parts inc. This past spring, I ordered the master big kit with the shock package and it was nothing but a nightmare from the start. On day of arrival of my shipment, the box was battered and beatn up and held together with shipping tape. I know, not thier fault, but fedex's. Anyway, I opened the box, and there was no shocks nor bushing kits, and one real bent and scratched up monte carlo bar. On top of it, it was the wrong type, it was the strait one, over top of dist., not the curved one. Upper control arms (shaft not centered) had a poor finish, which i had to redo, the nuts stripped in the threads out in the arms, sent me new ones, same deal, once after all prep and assembly on the car, the tie rods wouldnt mate up with couplings, come to find out, they sent me the wrong parts, sent me more, wrong again. After final completion, and test driving, I had a strange popping sound in the front, finally pinpointed it to the right side upper arm again, and the arm would make a dry popping sound, did everything right. Not my first rabbit season! So i had to dissassemble, noticed the end nuts was backing themselves off, so I had to weld them into place. Any way, long story short, I called and talked to paul the owner, he was nasty and rude with me with all of my problems that werent my fault. then he hung up on me, before i can get a word in edge wise, he wouldnt give me the chance. So as far as Im concerned, Im sticking with NPD inc! I should have know better, far better superior service.
